This is a route map I made for operators of my PRR Chautauqua Branch layout.
Added background photo to home page. This was one of the major industries in the city of Corry, Pennsylvania and was modeled on my last layout. Also added a links section. With links to Division 12 MCR and NMRA pages.
I found a spelling error in the web address for this blog. I have corrected it.
I thought it might be good to give some background on the Pennsylvania Railroad's Chautauqua Branch. The branch ran from Oil City, PA to Buffalo, NY: Towns in Pennsylvania; Oil City Titusville Spartansburg Corry Towns in New York; Clymer Sherman Mayville      At Brocton, NY the Chautauqua Branch joined the Nickle Plate Road mainline to Buffalo, NY creating a double track line from Brocton to Buffalo. The PRR owned the east bound main track and the NKP owned the west bound main track.

This is another plan we have been working on. This is the lower level. The issue I have with this plan is crossing the doorway into the layout room.

I have created this blog to track the progress of the construction of my PRR Chautauqua Branch HO scale model railroad. This will be my second layout of the Chautauqua Branch. The previous layout spanned 21 years of operation before being dismantled prior to move to a new house with a larger basement. Below is a link to a You Tube video of my old layout. This was filed by Rob Bennett and posted on his You Tube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-AZnp9ksnQ&t=196s The new layout will be multi-level. Below is one of the possible plans. The drawings above were done by Dick B. from NMRA MCR Div.12
